General - It is stuck onto the inside of a vehicle's windscreen. Each sticky tag has a unique internal number that is read by a tag reader. This number is allocated to the vehicle from stock. The external visible number is used for communication to the resident by the managing agent.
Workflow
Applications and approvals - Residents applications for additional vehicles, emergency contacts and house sitter sticky tags have to be approved by an authorized individual.
Workflow - Once approved the software create tasks and notify all the relevant individuals, including the applicant by email.
Payments - The payment for any tag has to be marked as being paid by the managing agent, else it is impossible to issue a tag. Once marked as paid, the task is automatically completed by the software.
Issuing of any tag - Tasks are created in a specific order to be executed. It is impossible to issue a replacement tag if the current "active" tag has not been deleted from stock. During the process of issuing any tag, the requestor of the tag is informed of the issue and where to pick it up via sms.
